S Korea's Samsung Total completes Chinese plant construction
South Korea's Samsung Total Petrochemical Co. said Friday it has completed construction of its polypropylene plant in southern China.
The company built its first overseas plant in Dongguan, in South China's Guangdong Province, in a bid to produce auto parts and electronic components, according to the company.
The newly launched plant is capable of producing 28,000, the company added.
Samsung Total is a 50-50 joint venture between South Korea's Samsung Group and French chemical group Total.
