Steriking® MW series: new thermoformable films

Wipak Medical has developed a new generation of its Steriking® MWthermoforming films to meet the high demands of medical device manufacturers.

Steriking® MW G2 is a carefully designed product series for packaging syringes, needles, catheters and tubings as well as woundcare dressings, operation room textiles and gowns to be sterilized by the EO or irradiation methods. Due to its enhanced film structure, Steriking® MW G2 is easy to process, giving an excellent thermoforming performance. The upgraded product series provides downgauging options while assuring the same packaging functions and patient safety. A further benefit is that medical device manufacturers can reduce their packaging costs as a result of increased efficiency due to the easy forming process.

The new Steriking® MW G2 products are tested and approved in accordance with Wipak's internal validation system. The comprehensive data package for the new product series has already been wellreceived.
