Grupo Armando Alvarez invests in their 2nd Blown Silage Wrap Film line from Gloucester Engineering
Gloucester Engineering announced they have received an order from Grupo Armando Alvarez for their 2nd 3400mm, 5-Layer Blown Silage Wrap Film Line for Grupo Armando Alvarez’s ASPLA Division. The line will be delivered at the end of 2009.
ASPLA chose this line due to Gloucester Engineering’s past performance, experience and sophisticated extrusion, PIB injection, die, bubble cooling and control technology that will allow ASPLA to produce silage wrap film to meet its customers demanding quality and performance requirements.
In addition to past performance, experience and technology, the Gloucester Engineering line will provide the highest proven outputs available in the market today for Blown Silage Wrap Film, providing an investment that makes the most economic sense for ASPLA, this is especially critical given the current state of the economy.
ASPLA has also invested in a center-surface winder from Swiss Winding Performance.
“We are extremely pleased that a company of Grupo Armando Alvarez’s reputation has awarded GEC this contract.
