Polyformes Ltd of Leighton Buzzard has acquired PSP (UK) Ltd (t/a Performance Solution Packaging), the packaging manufacturer based in Gamlingay, Bedfordshire. The purchase, for an undisclosed sum, took place on Tuesday 3rd of February 2009.
Paul Henrick, Executive Chairman of Polyformes, stated the acquisition enables both companies to offer a wide range of protective packaging. “The move strengthens our ability to offer customers a complete service for high specification composite packaging, from design to manufacture for a broad spectrum of industries”, said Henrick.
Polyformes is the UK ’s most advanced PE foam converter, and the acquisition strengthens its leading position in the market place. PSP are one of the few companies holding D Pkg A DR14: Military Packaging accreditation enabling supply to the MOD and Aerospace industry. Their unique capabilities cover design, prototyping, testing and manufacture of composite packaging in timber, corrugated board, solid board, foams, flight cases and plastic cases.
