Klockner Pentaplast expands polyester Capacity at beaver plant
The Klockner Pentaplast announced today that it will add to its North American production capacity for polyester films. Primarily used for thermoformed packaging and food packaging applications, the new polyester film capacity will be located at the company’s Beaver, West Virginia, manufacturing facility and is expected to add 15 new employees. Start up is targeted for March 2008.
“This expansion will enable us to continue to support our customers’ growing demand for highquality polyester films. The added capacity will allow us to meet future global market demand and further enhance new product development capabilities,” notes Michael Tubridy, president and COO of Klockner Pentaplast /Americas.
