The Operating Results of KuibyshevAzot OJSC in H1, 2007
The sales of commercial products of KuibyshevAzot in the six months of 2007 totaled 8.4b. RUR, 32,7% up as compared to the results in the same period of last year. The profit on sales rose by 87% to b. RUR, the return on sales rose up to 20,3% (14,2% for 6 months of 2006).
The positive change of figures is linked with the production growth (by 8.7%), improvement of the market situation in the global markets of the main products.
In comparison with the same period of 2006 all kinds of products showed growth in production:
Ammonia: 289,600 t (+8,3%);
Caprolactam: 82,400 t (+7,9%);
Polyamide 6: 33,900 t (+187,1%);
Technical Yarn: 2,400 t. (+20,6%);
Cord Fabric: 1,800 t (+78,3%).
Construction of the air separation unit is going on and 30% of erection works are performed. The main process equipment of the third line of polyamide 6 plant is installed and the layout of the process pipelines is started.
