Plastics Industry Awards winners celebrate their success
The UK plastics industry turned out in force on Friday night to celebrate achievement and hear the winners of the Plastics Industry Awards 2007.
A record 700 guests came to the London Hilton, where 15 awards were given to companies and individuals in recognition of their success within the world of plastics. Please see below for all the winners.
The prestigious award for Processor of the Year was won by HBC Engineering Solutions, the injection moulder based in Sheerness, Kent, which was owned by Germany’s Weidmuller before a management buy-out in 2003.
Managing director Paul Blackmore said the whole company has been celebrating the success. “It’s fantastic to get the recognition of the industry,” he said.
