Greiner Extrusionstechnik, the extrusion technology section of Austria’s Greiner Group, has been reorganised, effective 1 May, and is now trading as Greiner Tool Tec.
The new company will operate as an umbrella organisation providing strategic management and central services for six autonomous and legally independent divisions.
Greiner Extrusion and the Gruber Group will serve the extrusion technology sector, Greiner Production Network and Weba are responsible for toolmaking, R&D and training have been merged into the Greiner Competence Center, and Vendor Finance will provide a financing service for customers.
The reorganised structure will move the independent divisions one step closer to customers, says Greiner, with customer care and customer-oriented production defined as their main tasks.
Greiner Tool Tec comprises 18 companies at 12 locations in six countries. Excluding Weba, it had a turnover of ˆ119.4m in 2006.
