Dow is particularly focusing on growth markets in Russia, Eastern Europe and some key countries in the Middle East.
Fritz said: “These markets are experiencing double digit demand growth at this time, especially in high voltage power distribution applications.”
Dow has doubled its supply of high purity insulation compounds and semi-conductive compounds in Europe to meet growing demand.
Among the materials launched in 2006 that are experiencing growth are enhanced PE resins for cable jacketing and semi-conductive compounds for high and medium voltage applications.
