Gabriel-Chemie expands into Russia

16 March 2007 – Colour and additive masterbatch maker Gabriel-Chemie is opening a 400-tonne production plant in Russia.

The Austrian group said its new plant, which is near Moscow and scheduled to start production in April, will serve CIS countries.

The group intends to increase the production capacity of the plant to 1,000 tonnes within the next two years.

The company, which is privately owned and headquartered in Austria, is building its global presence. It has subsidiaries in Switzerland, the UK, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and a joint venture in Germany.
