Styropack UK to close South Wales plant

9 January 2007 – Styropack UK, a moulder of EPS and EPP packaging, has announced that it will close its Aderdare plant in South Wales on 30 March 2007.

The company has entered a consultation period with the 12 employees.

Styropack has five other UK facilities. “These sites will provide a continuation of service to customers that are currently supplied by the Aberdare plant where viable,” said Gavin Birnie, md, Styropack UK.
