German window, door and facade exhibition to grow further

5 January 2007 – The Nuremberg fair is making an additional two halls available for the next Fensterbau Frontale exhibition in 2008, resulting in a 20% increase in the available exhibition area over the 2006 event.

Profiles will be concentrated in halls 5, 6, 7, 8 and 7A, the latter being one of the two new daylight halls focusing on facades. Halls 7 and 7A will also cover glass, while hardware will be found in halls 1,2 and 4, while machinery will occupy halls 3 and the new hall 4A.

Fensterbau Frontale 2006 attracted 1,200 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors. Exhibition Centre Nuremberg says that 60% of the 2008 space has already been booked by exhibitors for 2008, around 18 months before the exhibition opens.

The organisers said the high level of international growth in the industry and the strongly recovering German economy had contributed to the high degree of interest.
