The new packaging plant is the company’s first Polish plastics operation

Global consumer packaging company Rexam has opened its first plastics packaging plant in Poland. The new 4,000 sq metres facility is located at Lodz, around 130km west of Warsaw. The plant will be focused on the company’s home and personal care packaging business and will service customers across Europe.

The new Rexam facility houses 14 injection moulding machines equipped with high speed robotics and assembly systems. Rexam already has two glass packaging manufacturing units in Poland, at Gostyn and Wyszkow.
