1,100 Ningbo Haitian machines have been already sold in Europe
Already claiming the position of the world’s largest manufacturer of injection moulding machines in terms of unit volume, Haitian Europe says that it aims to increase the penetration of Ningbo Haitian machines in Europe even further to 15% by 2010. It has already established a 10% market share in Europe with 1,100 machines sold.
The company’s main markets so far have been Turkey with 650 machines sold, Russia and the former CIS states with 140 machines and Poland with 120 machines. With Ningbo Haitian machines installed in all European countries, the company is increasing its European sales efforts.
These efforts in Europe are now being strengthened with appointment of two managing directors, Eric Taveau who has previously been managing director in Italy for Demag Plastics Machinery (DPG) before joining Haitian in May and Uwe Bär, previously CFO at the Demag Haitian Plastics Machinery joint venture in China before joining Haitian Europe in January.
The former Haitian Europe managing director, Pietro Nicolazzi now takes up responsibility for distribution and after-sales support for Ningbo Haitian machines in Italy at a newly formed independent HT Italy company.
