The PS Ellan PS rocking chair is moulded in Sweden by NolatoExtrusion compounding machinery manufacturer Coperion Werner & Pfleiderer displayed Ikea’s PS Ellan rocking chairs made in wood plastic composite (WPC) on its stand at the 6th Global Wood and Natural Fibre Composites Symposium in Kassel, Germany last week.
The chair was designed by Chris Martin as one of the PS “what if?” innovative programme ideas created by 28 designers for the Swedish furniture store group. It involves six WPC parts that click together to make the chair, without use of tools. Source: PRW Previous news |
