Bayer MaterialScience raises prices for thermoplastic polyurethanes

Bayer MaterialScience AG will raise its prices for all grades of Desmopan® thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) in the regions Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Latin America by EUR 0.30 / kg.

The persistently high demand for feedstocks has led to further significant increases in raw material costs. The price rise to balance out the consistent erosion of margins is necessary to enable Bayer MaterialScience to continue to provide efficient technical services and to further develop its product portfolio so that it can meet the future needs of the market.
