Sarnamotive Switzerland specialises in galvanising and lacquering automotive partsGermany automotive moulder and finisher Wafa Beteiligungs has acquired Sarnamotive Switzerland from Sarna for an undisclosed sum. Based in Emmenbrüke, Sarnamotive Switzerland specialises in finishing decorative polymer parts with techniques including galvanising and lacquering. It has approximately 50 employees and has annual sales of around SFr8m (E5.2m). Bayreuth-based Wafa will take over all the employees. They will join the 700-strong Wafa group, which has sales of around SFr100m and factories in Germany, Czech Republic and Mexico. Sarna had earlier announced plans to find a partner for the business (PRW.com 23 August). It said the disposal will lead to a financial adjustment “in the region of high single-digit million Swiss francs”, causing a loss for the company this year. Source: PRW.com Previous news |
