Grupo Gema will take two Elion injection moulding machines

Spain’s Grupo Gema, a company that already uses Netstal machines for optical disc moulding, has placed an order with Netstal for 80-tonne and 120-tonne versions the new Elion all-electric moulding machine range that was official launched at K2004.

Netstal marketing manager Reto Morger told PRW.com that the company had already taken orders for seven machines before taking the order from Gema: three Elions in Switzerland, two in Germany and one in Belgium. He stressed that all of the machines have actually been bought by customers.

One of the two companies in Germany that has ordered Elion machines is PKT Präzisions-Kunststoff-Teile in Tiefenbronn, an existing user of a number of Netstal Synergy hydraulic machines. It bought a 50-tonne Elion as its first all-electric machine.
