Aurora Material Solutions was founded in 1997 by three vastly experienced thermoplastic professionals dedicated to meeting the global quality challenges facing the industry. Aurora Material Solutions has worked from a foundation of experience and dedication, with a mission to provide our customers with the best quality products and service available in the industry.

The company ownership changed to private equity and employees in August of 2016. Nautic Partners, a Providence, Rhode Island private equity firm, acquired Aurora Material Solutions in August of 2021 continuing investment support for new product development, capacity expansion, geographic expansion, and company acquisitions.

Product line Aurora Material Solutions is one of the industry’s largest product portfolios, including premium pellet capstocks, rigid PVC and flexible PVC, custom TPO, TPE, CPVC, CPE alloys, TPEs, low-smoke zero-halogen compounds, SBS & SEBS, RPVC and purge compounds. We have one of the broadest thermoplastic product portfolios in the plastics industry. In addition, Aurora Material Solutions launched an engineered polymers division when it merged with Enviroplas, providing customers with an even broader product range that includes ABS, ASA, MABS, PBT, PC, PC/ABS Alloys, PC/ASA Alloys, PC/PBT Alloys, PC/PET Alloys, PEI and TPU composites.

Aurora Material Solutions has polymer compounding facilities in the U. S., located in Streetsboro, Ohio; Welcome, North Carolina; Lunenburg, Massachusetts; Pasadena, Texas; Evansville, Indiana; and Marieville, Quebec, Canada.
