Polypropylene’, PP/DH PU’s PP brand, provides high-quality homopolymer, block copolymer, and random copolymer with HYPOL, UNIPOL, and SPHERIPOL processes used in various applications.

Polypropylene is supplying excellent products that meet customer needs and is leading the differentiated product market. It is well-known and widely used in China, Japan, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe as well as in Korea while the company is making greater efforts to succeed in customer satisfaction management through product development and customer services.

TPA PU annually produces and supplies 420,000 tons of high purity TPA which is not only a main raw material for high functionality polyester fibers but is also used to produce various industrial and everyday goods including tire cord, pet bottles, and polyester film.

Hyosung Poketone is a future-oriented industrial material developed and commercialized exclusively by Hyosung globally. It generates minimum CO2 emissions during manufacturing and is a new engineering plastic that is harmless to the human body.

Since 1998, Hyosung Chemical has been supplying PP Random Copolymer (PP-R) for PP-R pipes, the first of its kind in Asia, under the brand name “R200P” to respected manufacturers in South Korea and abroad.

Film PU, based on the technology accumulated in the textile industry, entered the nylon film business in 1996. It expanded to Jiaxing, China, in 2018 and Quzhou in 2023, continuing its growth. Nylon film, with stable quality, leads the domestic market as the No. 1 brand and is leaping to become a global leader.

In 2009, we built a TAC film plant for LCDs in Yongyeon, Ulsan, and proudly became the first Korean company to start large-scale production. With the completion of the second plant in Oksan, Cheoungju, in 2013, we have increased the annual capacity to 110 million square meters.
