Atátheágeneraláassembly oná15áJune 2018áináLinz, theárepresentatives ofátheámember firms ofáEUROMAP elected Presidency andáGeneraláSecretary forátheáperiod 2018átoá2021:
Ľ Luciano Anceschi, Tria, Cologno Monzese (President)
ôTheáclose collaboration onáaáEuropean leveláis extremely important forátheámanufacturers ofáplastics andárubber machinery when it comes toácentralátopics like Industry 4.0áoráCircular Economy,ö Luciano Anceschi, newly elected EUROMAP-president, is convinced. Theáatmosphere amongst theáEuropean plastics andárubber machinery manufacturers, which are united underátheáEuropean umbrella organisation EUROMAP, is excellent. Atátheágeneraláassembly ináLinz, they already celebrated theánext record year. Sinceá2009, theáproduction ofáEuropean plastics andárubber machinery manufacturers has risen toáanáestimated 15.3ábillion euros, which equals anáincrease ofá99áper cent withinátheálast eight years. Iná2017, EUROMAPĺs production saw anáaboveáaverage increase ofáseven per cent.
There is no end ofátheágrowth inásight. Due toáfulláorder books, EUROMAP expects aágrowth rate ofátwo per cent foráEuropean plastics andárubber machinery manufacturers. Theáunusually long boomáphase does have its drawbacks, however. Theádelivery times ofámachine manufacturers asáwelláasáofásuppliers are tremendous. Moreover, some companies have trouble toáfind appropriate skilled workers. Aáslow-downáofátheáeconomic growth, therefore, is becoming increasingly likely.
Theáworldwide production ofáplastics andárubber machinery has increased byáfour per cent. Especially Chinese competitors gained inástrength. Iná2017áthey already produced machinery andáplants worth 11.1ábillion euros, which is 180ápercentage points more than ináyear 2009.
